2018 Mindfulness Workshops and Classes

I am excited to share the principles and practices of mindfulness with you! My focus of instruction is specifically on the study of stress reduction through the practice of mindfulness. I have participated in and completed the UMass Center for Mindfulness MBSR Fundamentals in MBSR, taught by Senior Teachers at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at UMASS Medical School. Additionally, this opened another doorway for the opportunity to complete the Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training  (MB-EAT) program with registered dietitian and MB-EAT instructors.

The implementation of mindfulness meditation has transformed my life and created a shift of perspective that has allowed me to live from the moment with more ease and clarity. As life presents us with a wide range of challenges, it is a common to default into habits of distraction mind and auto-pilot mode, resulting in a complete loss of awareness, misguided priorities, and disconnection. Mindfulness is a way to check in to what is present which allows for living life fully, with non-judgment, more compassion, and gratitude.

The following are a series of workshops and classes dedicated to help participants navigate the effects of stress through mindful awareness to enhance an overall sense of well-being.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness allows for attentive awareness that offers a connection to the present moment. It is a practice that awakens the body-mind connection to the presence of thought and emotions, done with open curiosity and non-judgment.
